Enter the Twilight

First, let me start by saying that Edward and Bella would not have been conceived without Stephenie Meyer, and for that, I, on the behalf of my fellow fans, we give you our thanks, support, and our gratitude! 

Stephenie Meyer was born in Connecticut in 1973.  She went to high school in Scottsdale, Arizona, where Stephenie says in her (rather amusing) unofficial bio, "the kind of place where every fall a few girls would come back to school with new noses and there were Porsches in the student lot." Stephenie Meyer graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree in English. She lives with her husband and three young sons (Gabe, Seth and Eli) in Phoenix, Arizona. After the publication of her first novel, Twilight, booksellers chose Stephenie Meyer as one of the "most promising new authors of 2005" (Publishers Weekly).
