Warning, spoilers!!

Did Edward bite Bella at the end of Twilight?

No, Edward merely kissed her throat.

Can vampires have children?

Much to some of you guys disappointment, no, vampires cannot have children. Why? Because, once you are turned into a vampire, he or she will be frozen in the exact moment of there body. No physical changes can be undergone. Thus, women cannot get pregnant. However, if they are pregnant at the time of being bitten, they will be pregnant forever, rather unfortuantely. And the fact that once you are a vampire your body would not produce any more bodily fluids, meaning you could not have periods anymore and guys could not get women pregnant. So humans could not get pregnant by vampires, or have children with humans, either. There only bodily fluid is venom.

How do you become a vampire?

It is a slow, painful process that takes about three days to complete. Once you are bitten, the vampire's venom seeps into the bloodstream, and it must go through every part of your body, all the way to the last blood vessel. Once it reaches the heart, it stops, and you are a vampire. Multiple bites do not speed up the process, thought the transformation can take two days. But all the while, one would be wishing for death. It is so incredibly and incomprehensibly painful that it is the sharpest memory a vampire has of there human life.

Why do the Cullens have gold eyes?

The Cullens have gold eyes because they drink animal blood.

Where did the vampire legends start? There not all correct, are they?

As to that, I'm not sure, however, most are based on fact. The subuccus, female vampires that had obsession with human males, are based off the sisters of the Denali covenant in Alaska. Carlisle is the one who started the Stregoni benefici-good vampires-rumour.

Why do newborn vampires have red eyes?

The blood from there system, all there human blood left over form the transformation is still in there body, and so there eyes are blood red. It takes a year for the blood to be used up in the body. Afterwards, there eyes could be gold-should they choose to drink animal instead of human blood. If not, there eyes will be burgundy.

Is it harder for Edward when Bella is on her period?

Yes, a little bit. But not much. It makes him a little uncomfortable, but he is too much of a gentleman to say anything and Bella is too embarassed to ask.

Is Forever Dawn the "steamy" version of Breaking Dawn?

Forever Dawn (the early, poorly written sequel to Twilight) is not the "steamy" version of Breaking Dawn. Forever Dawn is not adult as in "XXX." It is adult as in "not written exclusively for a young adult audience, much like Pride and Prejudice or Gone With the Wind." There is no steam in Forever Dawn that is not also in Breaking Dawn, so please stop begging for the "ooh la la" version. It does not exist. Stephenie may put some small excerpts of Forever Dawn on her website after Breaking Dawn comes out, but then again, maybe not. It's not that great. All the best stuff is in Breaking Dawn.

When will Breaking Dawn be realeased?

Breaking Dawn is in the editing phase. It it tentatively set for release Fall 2008. It could be later if it hits a snag in editing. Usually editing takes longer than a few months, but both Stephenie and her editors will be putting in lots of overtime to make this happen.

When will Midnight Sun be published?

Midnight Sun is only half-written. It will not be coming out until a while after it's finished. Don't expect it anytime soon. She will let you know when the rough draft is finished, and then you can start asking when it is due out. Stephenie doesn't foresee much chance to work on it until Breaking Dawn is completely finished.

Why do Jasper and Rosalie go by the last name "Hale"?

Jasper doesn't really care, but Rosalie can't ler her former life go. So since they look like twins, they claim to be, and go by the last name of Hale. People assume that they are twins, which is why they decide that pretending to be is the best idea.

When Alice returns to Forks in “New Moon”, she tells Bella that Jasper has been studying at Cornell University, the same institution where Carlisle has been teaching. What subject was Jasper studying?

Philosophy. Jasper adores scholarly endeavors. After the family leaves Forks, he and Alice join Carlisle and Esme in Ithaca.

Golden, as are his walls, but they are a heavier fabric.

What is the name of the restaurant in Twilight that Edward takes Bella to?

La Bella Italia

What does Bella look like?

Bella is very fair-skinned, with long, straight, dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. Her face is heart-shaped—a wide forehead with a widow's peak, large, wide-spaced eyes, prominent cheekbones, and then a thin nose and a narrow jaw with a pointed chin. Her lips are a little out of proportion, a bit too full for her jaw line. Her eyebrows are darker than her hair and more straight than they are arched. She's five foot four inches tall, slender but not at all muscular, and weighs about 115 pounds. She has stubby fingernails because she has a nervous habit of biting them.

What's with the apple in the cover of Twilight?

Stephenie Meyer explains that it has so many symbolic roots, and that to her, she loves the beautiful simplicity of it, that to her says: choice.

What’s the deal with Bella just falling in love with Jacob in the eleventh hour of Eclipse?

Bella didn't just suddenly fall in love with Jacob; she was in love with him since New Moon, but never recognized that she was falling in love, seeing as it was subtle, much, much more subtle than when she fell in love with Edward. But it doesn't mean that Bella doesn't love Edward any less. She loves two people, and she has two options, but in the end, her truest love wins out, and she picks Edward.

Does Jacob regret saving Bella or trying to get her to fall in love with him?

No, for Jacob, he knew all along that it would hurt in the end, however, he still had to try, because not saving Bella's life would have hurt him more.

What are the characters bigges mistakes, their most tragic flaws?

Stephenie Meyer's answer:

"Bella’s is a lack of self-knowledge; she never would have pursued her friendship with Jacob if she had realized how much more than friendship it really was. You don’t give up your friends when you fall in love; however, you do give up your other romantic interests. If Bella had understood herself better, she could have saved everyone a lot of heartbreak. Sometimes that happens when you try to do the right thing.

Edward’s big mistake is overreaction. It’s in his nature to be too extreme (see: New Moon). He’s a very all-or-nothing kind of person, and it makes him unreasonable. In the beginning of Eclipse, he’s too overprotective. When he sees the error of his ways, he goes too far in the other direction. He could have chosen a middle ground—maybe admitted to his jealousy and asked Bella to choose him, rather than watching her get in deeper with Jacob. Of course, he has other issues that make forcing this issue problematic. What if Jacob is better for her? What if Bella could have a more complete life with him? Should Edward really insist that Bella give everything up for vampire life? Or would it be better to let her make a fully informed choice? Can you see his dilemma? Part of Edward wants Bella to choose Jacob (and life).

Jacob doesn’t have a tragic flaw. He has one goal and one hope. His goal is to save Bella’s life. His hope is that he’ll win her heart in the process. He fails at both. But that doesn’t mean he regrets trying. If he could do it over again, he’d do the same thing. Jacob couldn’t live with himself if he didn’t give saving Bella his best effort—he knows it’s going to hurt when he loses, but he knows it would hurt worse if he didn’t try. Does he do everything right? Heck, no! But he’s sixteen and he’s making it up as he goes along. Those who are upset by some of his tactics should consider his youth and the fact that he is, after all, right. Bella is in love with him. (In the end, it’s truly healthier for her to be aware of this as she goes forward with unalterable decisions.)"

Did Jacob imprint on Bella?

No, he did not. In New Moon, after he phased, if he had imprinted he wouldn't have been mean to her at all, like he was. Instead, he would have answered all her questions and given her anything else she would have wanted. In Eclipse he tried to, but ou can't force it.

Who was the vampire in Bella's room - the one with the unrecognizable scent?

Riley. He was the one that took Bella's clothes for the other newborns to smell so they could take her scent.

Why did Edward leave Bella in New Moon?

He left because he was trying to do the right thing, trying to protect Bella from the soulless monster he believes he is. But he underestimated Bella's love for him, seeing as he couldn't fathom that she should love him very much. No other human relationships he's seen had led him to believe that Bella could feel very stongly, just things like high school infatutaion that meant nothing.

What happened to Lauren Mallory's hair? Why is it so short?

Stephenie's answer:

"Ha ha. I had fun imagining this one—I only wished that it had fit into the book somewhere. Lauren fell victim to the "model discovered in the mall" scam. An alleged modeling agent approached Lauren in a mall in Victoria, B.C., and told her she was a natural model. Lauren ate it up. The agent told her that if she did something edgy with her hair, and took some high quality head shots, her future was assured. Lauren followed the instructions—dropping fifteen grand on the pictures taken by the agent's partner—and waited for her career to begin. She's still waiting. Snort."

What did Edward break in the living room after the vote for Bella's mortality?

A sixty inch flat screen TV imported from Korea, and not available in the United States. Emmett was annoyed.

Was Edward somehow mentality connected to Edward during New Moon, when Bella was having her hallucinations?

No, it was just Bella's subconcious trying to tell her what she had chosen not to see, so she couldn't break her heart if the hope wasn't tangible: That Edward still loved her.

Why is it that Edward, Jane, and Aro cannot effect her, but Jasper and Alice can?

IIt all has to do with the fact that Bella hs a private mind. In Bella's mind, nobody can touch her. However, Jasper and Alice's powers work outside the mind, so that is why they can work for Bella. Jasper really does calm your system down, or pump your body full of adrenaline to be hyper. Alice sees the otcomes of people, but not the reasons behind the actions.
